Office Reliance hosts the Garden Route's very own Wordpress based web design training course.
"WordPressis a state-of-the-art publishing platform with a focus on aesthetics, web standards, and usability. WordPress is both free and priceless at the same time.
More simply, WordPress is what you use when you want to work with your blogging software, not fight it."
The course is broken down into several sections, and is presented over three full days of training. Once the course has been completed the student will be able to create and maintain Wordpress based websites.
An additional three days of hands on workshop time is also available for those that feels they need additional 'practice time'.
The course is aimed at web design beginners and does not require any knowledge of HTML or other programming languages.
During the course we will be using the Bitnami Wordpress installation. This will allow us to work on our training PCs and to easily copy the websites we create to other computers.

The course will run from 9 am to 4 pm each day over 3 days, and will include catered tea breaks as well as a hot lunch.
Cost is R3000 per delegate, VAT incl.
An optional additional 3 days of hands on practical site building is also available, for and additional R2,000 per delegate, VAT incl.
This additional 3 day hands on workshop also includes a free domain name and 1 year of Wordpress website hosting.
